Jack Moon, the musical mind behind The Dancing Jackal and the voice of Croaky

With a brand new season comes a brand new set of sounds for The Glam Gizmo, including a bespoke music score for the saga to encompass the characters, stories and world that has been set up..

In addition to the score by Sebastián Montenegro, accompanying music throughout by Jack Moon will be used throughout Season 5 in a variety of episodes.

With flairs of styles such as Folk, Blues, Psychedelic, Rock , Experimental & Avant Garde, Jack Moon's music brings an eclectic sound that adds to the strangeness of The Glam Gizmo.

"The Dancing Jackal is a playground without delimitation - Originally started as a solo project back in 2011, soon turned into a collaborative experimentation of soundscapes, mood, texture and noise." Says Jack.

All tracks from The Lizards Revel were improvised, single take live recordings.

"The process was like a meditation, a switching off of the mind and feeling where the sound takes you. Almost playing as zen and getting into a zone to create something special, Unrehearsed, and in the moment."

"Romp Umbra our spiritual successor and decade anniversary of The Lizards Revel was approached with a similar process.

Although this time around a bit more work went into the post production and a few studio tricks were added to give the tracks more depth and space."

Jack goes on to share that the music was put out into the world with no clear intention in mind, but existed as a time capsule for the creative team.

He knew however the music had potential for more.

"I've always hoped these tracks could be put to use and not just admired for their obscurity.

I'm very happy they can now be part of The Glam Gizmo and cant wait to see how they are incorporated."

Series creator Tom Denham shares how he is excited to keep expanding the sound of The Glam Gizmo.

"Jack first came onto the series way back in 2019 and 2020 when we were doing Season 1, where he magnificently brough Croaky the poltergeist to life."

"Now to hear him bring his music talent to the series is just another feather to his cap. The music that he's brought forth really adds to the world of the series."
