The Glam Gizmo wins Audio Drama category at 2026 SONARR Awards
The winners of the SONARR Awards were presented at the inaugural presentation at Machine Hall in Sydney with many indie productions as well as larger networks present.
We were absolutely honoured to receive the 2026 Audio Drama Award for The Glam Gizmo, acknowledging the voice, craft and writing that goes into the series.
Series creator and head writer Tom Denham says, "My big thanks goes to Student Youth Network (SYN Media) who were mad enough to let me start the series back in 2019, to my lecturers and peers from Australian Film Television and Radio School who encouraged me to keep making, the entire voice cast and crew, plus everyone who has listened or engaged with The Glam Gizmo along the way."
"This is a wonderful recognition for all the voices involved and those who have helped craft the world of the series.
I feel incredibly encouraged that audio drama feels just as relevant in Australia today and the chance to share stories that are uniquely home-grown. Audio drama is alive and well."
The other shortlisted title for the Audio Drama Award was The Night Caller by Australian author Candice Fox, which can be found here.
