Enraptured in eccentricity and intrigue, Lydia comes from the Celestial Realm.
Like Professor Paradox, she is an interstitial being, but spends her time dream-weaving and observing rather than getting involved with events.
She was visited by the Professor and Yodalin when they were both on a mission to retrieve Max's memory.
Joining them, she made her way to Earth in Melbourne Australia where she made herself at home in the bookshop on Celestial Avenue in the absence of the Professor.
When Professor Paradox departed the material world, both Lydia and Gibbons devoted their time to keep the shop running in his memory.
During the events of the Flickerer's rise to power, Lydia met the reborn Violet and guided her on her path to reunite with Mandrake.
After these events and once she had brought Yodalin back to full health after her transformation, Lydia destroyed the Keppell Machine (or did she?) and handed over the responsibility of running the shop to Wally Winker.
She now lives reclusively in a beachside house in a secret location in Victoria, but helped fight against the Catharo with the help from Kamelia, and even got one last chance to say goodbye to the Professor.
